The Wisconsin Veterans Network (VetsNet)
is a collaboration
VetsNet works with more than 30 agencies in seven Southeastern Wisconsin counties and beyond to bring critical services to at-risk veterans and their families. Those partner agencies are veteran service organizations, state and federal veteran agencies, other nonprofit veteran and community social service agencies.
Cutting through the confusion
Navigating the growing number of veteran help groups and other agencies (over 500 in Wisconsin) can be a daunting, time consuming task. That’s where VetsNet comes in.
Once we identify the needs of the veterans or their families and match them with the qualifications of various agencies. VetsNet assigns the case to the ones best able to help as quickly as possible.
VetsNet’s mission is to serve veterans and their families facing crises.
If you took the oath and wore the uniform — on active duty, Reserve or National Guard member — we will help. We do that without respect to time spent in service, type of discharge, branch of service. In 2016, the first full year of operation, our phenomenal partners served 407 veterans and/or their families with the help of the VetsNet staff.
